December Daily 2010 Continued...

This is going to be a picture heavy post. Here are some pictures of Day 2 through Day 11. I will be catching up on Day 13 through 16 tonight. Day 13 will be an interesting one. It has to do with my first hand experience with a person that was not in the festive, holiday spirit. I got rear-ended while stopping for a pedestrian in a residential area on my way to dropping off Rowan at daycare. Yes, Rowan was in the car. Everyone is fine. It really was a minor accident with just at teeny, tiny scratch on my bumper. And even then, you really have to get up close and personal to be able to see it. This guy, who was clearly in the wrong and was not driving to the conditions, tried to brake, hit a patch of ice and ran into me. The kicker? He gets out of his car and starts SCREAMING at me. He went off. Right in front of Rowan. I asked the guy, if he could take it down a notch and refrain from cursing like a sailor, because my child was in the backseat. He screams back at me..."I have two children!"...So I replied. "Well then you ought to know better". After that comment, he gets back into his car, and at this point I presume he is going to just move his car to a side street that has less traffic so we can exchange information. Ah no...He gets into his car and high tails it out of there. Flees the scene. It happened so fast....Rear ends me, gets out to tell me off and then leaves. Lesson learned for everyone that is involved in an accident. Get your phone out and take a picture of the license plate immediately. Easier said then done. It all happened so fast. Rowan was upset about the guy screaming at me. I told him that Santa was putting him on the naughty list and that the "bad man" was getting no presents this year. Rowan liked this. He talked about "the bad man" all day long. Merry Christmas.
