Dear Mia Michaels,
About this time last year, I wrote a somewhat harsh note on my blog urging you to give more constructive criticism. I dunno, maybe you had some stuff going on in your personal life last year because you kinda of came off as a beeatch. Now Mia, I am only writing this note because I care about you. I respect you. Hell, I love you. I was apprehensive about seeing you yesterday on TV. Would you be the Mia I know and love, or the one who seemed liked someone pissed in her cornflakes. And to my delight, the old Mia was back in fine form. Laughing, crying, crying some more. And I hear you are going to be a permanent fixture on this year's judging panel. Yippee! Let's keep it up Mia! And if ever you are in Toronto, please give me a call, I know we would be fast friends. Until then I will adore you from the comfort of my couch, whilst eating Cheetos and sipping a Coke...with ice.
xo

The Curly Hair
kills me. I love the colour and the curls. I rub my hands through it all the time, until he tells me to stop it :)
And a closeup of the rainboots. Do they make them in my size?!

Comin' Home
Another goodie by Dallas.
Especially these lines...
I've been through Nova Scotia, Sydney to Halifax
but I'll never take any pictures
Because I know I'll just be right back
Cuz I am comin' home.....

Happy Dance!
If you know me, then you know how much music is an important part of my life and how much I enjoy a good concert. I recently went to Alice in Chains in Toronto, and it was such a good time. Next up is City and Colour with Tegan and Sara. I have loved City and Colour forever, see this post and this one....Sooo excited for August! Doing my happy dance!

Happy NSD!
It is National Scrapbook Day today. Yes....there is such a thing ;) Anywhoo, I have been participating in a few of the challenges over at Studio Calico. They aren't my favourite layouts by a long shot, but I do love the photos.
And then I found this Australian clothing company. I am drooling as we speak. Banjo and Matilda. Price point is a little insane though. So all I'll be doing is looking and not buying. Is it me or does Elle Macpherson not age?! No fair! They have some pretty amazing striped cardis and tanks and all done in super soft cashmere.
"The Karen" has the bug, so there is a whole lot of yard work being done today. Gotta run to Home Depot to pick up a fence....
